Phala Rekha

The Phala Rekha, wheat line or Pushpa Rekha is the line which divides the will and the logic section of the thumb. It indicates that the person will always have enough food. If the line has an island, it shows the person will have a happy and satisfied life. The two interconnecting lines represent the man and the woman. It starts as a single line and then is joined by another, denoting the partner in life.

Timing the union can be estimated from this island. If the line has disruptions such as breaks or marks, it can mean that there are relationship problems. At the start (on the index finger side) the line is wavy or uneven, there was a difficult early life. If wavy in the middle, difficulty in mid-life. Wavy at its end then shows problems at old age.
