The sun line (Apollo line, success line), is a vertical line on the palm which rises to the ring finger. This survey is for those who have this particular line.
At Destiny Palmistry, we endeavour to give the best possible outcomes in our palm readings. To help us better understand our future clients, we have put together this quick, anonymous survey about the sun line. The sun line is also known as the Apollo line or the success line. If you have this type of line (marked in red on the image below), we would appreciate your help by answering a few questions.
Thank you for your time 🙂
I have specified that this survey is for adults because palm lines can change over time. These days, contemporary palmistry steers away from the predictive side of reading hands. Western culture’s palmistry mainly depicts character, career, and health. Other cultures do things a little differently. However, if trying to make predictions, the fate and sun line are excellent examples of using the past and future in a palm reading. If the left or non-dominant hand has a weak line, but the dominant has a well-formed one, it can show that the subject has made life decisions or become more motivated.
More about various types of sun line
The sun line is not present as a complete line on all hands and is more typically found only in segments. When someone does have the sun line on the palm, it signifies the sense of achievement and satisfaction that a person feels in their life.
In legend, Apollo was the name granted to the sun god who ruled over creativity, music, and the arts; that is why the line is more prominent on those who are using their creative talent positively. The longer this line, the more it shows the ability to express creativity, personal fulfilment or merely the capacity to enjoy life. It is not a guarantee of fame and fortune, but it does bring a certain amount of luck into the individual’s life. It shows that there is potential for accomplishing a great deal.
Multiple Sun Lines
Having more than one sun line is not uncommon, especially when an individual has many interests; each line can represent a different activity. A secondary one rising from the success line would indicate that achievement branched from one endeavour to another. For example, a successful artist who writes a book about his art and the writing also becomes a success.
If multiple small lines are touching the sun line, they often represent ideas, inspiration or influences that aid the success of a project.
Sometimes parallel lines along the success line can refer to another person, particularly in family relationships, such as a partner, one or both parents, and the child. I have found this to be true when the two parallel lines are very high on the mount reaching the ring finger or between the ring and middle finger. In such a case, it refers to living with a family member at old age. If joined lines, they represent a married couple.
