So, what has this mission got to do with fingerprints?
We are all aware that our fingerprints never change. In hand analysis, these prints are our real character, which will never change, unlike other features and lines of the hands.
Is it possible to read my child’s hands? Yes, we are born with the same fingerprints we have now. When doing a regular palm reading, I rarely read the hands of a child the same way as I read an adult’s hand. That is because the child is yet to go through many stages of development.
Anything can bring change to their life, and the lines form and continue to change as our lives grow; the fingers and nails, too, can change. Does your hand resemble the hand of an infant? I doubt it, and if it did, the meaning of this, through hand diagnosis, would be immaturity or lack of development.

In this article, you will learn how to recognise these marks.
The star lines and markings we see on the palms that don’t seem to fit into any category of a regular palmar line are still notable in a palm reading. They can indicate a warning, such as stress, or point to a sign of talent, fortune or an event.
In most cases, markings on the mounts (the padded areas of the palm) accentuate the meaning of the mount in a favourable or undesirable way. Star lines are markings that are both good and bad. On a line, based on traditional meaning, it is an unwelcome find.
HOW TO RECOGNISE STAR LINES
Some of these markings will take a careful eye when analysing what they mean due to the difficulty in interpreting whether it is a mix of other lines overlapping or one which stands on its own.
A star will have at least three lines crossing at the same point and NOT be made up by other minor or major lines. It is an independent mark on the palm. While most star lines on the mounts are a welcome sign, they have a complex connotation. The reason could be the challenges in attaining high-level success or recognition.

The area under the middle and ring fingers is common to misread the star mark, as it is usually a coincidental crossing of the success line and Girdle of Venus lines.
On Jupiter or Apollo mount, it reveals extraordinary talent, financial windfalls or even fame. However, even these positive markings need to be viewed as cautionary. Sudden fame or success can influence personal life. That means keeping one’s head together and feet on the ground to ensure a more secure scenario. The star on the Jupiter mount is more about honour and influence. The star on the Apollo is more about fame.
Star on the Mercury Mount
A star on Mercury mount beneath the pinkie shows a sudden rise in a business venture. However, on the negative side, it can point to dishonesty.
Star on the Saturn Mount
A star on Saturn mount beneath the middle finger may depict restriction, confines or obstacles. There is usually some effort in legal matters.
Star Mark on the Mount of the Moon
A star on the mount of the Moon at the base of the palm shows powers of instinct or imagination. There might be celebrity status in a literary career. On the negative side, it can suggest fear of the sea or danger at sea.
A star on the ball of the thumb (Mount of Venus) can depict success in romantic affairs. The energy and passion are strong but might come at the expense or sacrifice of another matter.
Research and Scientific Study Markings in Palmistry
A mark in the centre of the palm in the form of a triangle is thought to be a sign of scientific aptitude. Some palmists say that it indicates an unusual aptitude for research. The person usually undertakes interests that pertain to the unveiling of secrets and problems.

Hand features of a problematic child, from a palmist’s point of view.
We also consider other marks or signs for a difficult child’s hand features. People inherit many physical characteristics and character traits from their parents, and we are all unique. Keep in mind that a child’s hand is still developing. Not only do the lines change, but so does the shape of the hand. Also, some of the signs can be temporary.
The basic shape of the hand is especially an essential part of reading the palms because it helps us to determine the person’s first and most fundamental character—an example of a fire hand.
I recall looking at a young boy’s hands when he was just a toddler, and I could see that he had a pretty down-to-earth nature based on his hand shape. However, as he matured (he is now an adult), I saw a difference in his hands, quite unlike how they were long ago.
Take note of the features over a long period.
While I don’t read a child’s hand like an adult, I still think looking and learning are exemplary. If you find something that might point to problems, keep it in mind and monitor the signs over time. You get an idea of the potential and help avoid some things that might be negative.
It’s much easier to see the signs of a problematic adult than a child. Before I tell you the possible hand features of a difficult child, I’d like to point out that some may consider it questionable, and others may not.
If you look at the hands of people, including your family, you might see the difference in the hands of a hyperactive or bad-tempered person compared to a quiet, shy one.
What is meant by a difficult child?
What might be an issue with children is not listening or obeying rules, arguing back, losing their temper, hyperactivity, lying or being sneaky. Sometimes, even being overly dependent or lazy can be a problem.
Possible hand features of a difficult child:
Pointed fingertips (noticeably thinner than the base of the fingers). Remember that pointed fingertips are very common in newborns, considering they depend entirely on the parent. The pointed fingertips of a teenager might suggest over-dependency.
Short fingers (compared to the length of the palm). The short fingers can be an indicator of impatience and a short temper.
A waisted thumb with a pointed tip. The person can be pretty shrewd when the thumb is narrow in the middle. The pointy tip shows some passive-aggressiveness.
A thumb that is inflexible and stiff. A stiff thumb depicts a rigid nature. While the person can be determined, they might also be overly stubborn. Most children have a flexible thumb.
Wide spaces at the base of the fingers, especially between the ring and middle finger. The wide gaps depict someone who doesn’t like being told what to do, and they tend to break the rules. They love their freedom and enjoy spontaneity.
A short middle finger (which is usually the longest), when short, can indicate a rule breaker or a bit of a rebel.
Ring finger longer than the index finger. It is usual for boys to have a longer ring finger, but an extended ring finger that is also thick can be a sign of a risk-taker.
Red looking bed of fingernails can depict a hot temper. Also, red patches of skin on the palms show impatience and potential anger issues.
Simian Line
Signs of a difficult child from the palm lines
The simian line is one single transverse line across the palm (rather than two). The Simian line shows an intense nature. These people are sensitive and passionate but can also be the opposite. They are usually either full-on or full-off. You can read more about the Simian line here.
A wavy or broken head line. The line of the head shows how a person thinks, so a broken line can suggest the mind is not always thinking straight. There might be times of indecisiveness.
The short, straight, or broken heart line (horizontally under the pinky and ring finger). A fractured heart line shows the emotions are not even. There might be bouts of uncertainty or coldness.
A full Girdle of Venus lines gives more intensity and sensitivity to the character. They may be overly emotional.
The skin ridges form a Rajah loop. It is a loop formation between the index and middle fingers. It can depict a charismatic nature but also a naturally aggressive personality.
A Via Lascivia is like an allergy line. However, it is often seen in those easily addicted to substances. In some people, it is one of the signs of depression or ADHD.
A long and deeply sloping head line can be one of the signs of a depressive or moody nature.

What are the palmistry signs of loyalty and a faithful personality?
It’s fair to say that anyone can have a faithful personality, but naturally, someone more likely than others will have the right core personality. You might wonder if there is such a thing as loyalty to one person’s sign on the palm.
In palmistry (hand analysis), we don’t just look at the lines for potential future outcomes; we look to the character to learn about our inherent capability.
A realistic and practical person is the most believable character in someone faithful in relationships. These qualities in hand analysis are mainly found in someone with a square palm or overall square-looking hand.
These typical signs of loyalty or faithfulness in palmistry depict a dedicated and organised worker, so while they may be loyal and devoted, they may not always be so romantic.
The fingers will be straight and relatively stiff with some square or spatulate, not clubbed fingertips.
They should be set close at the base, with little or no gaps between them, especially the Ring and middle fingers, showing they appreciate the security and like to hold on to things.
With a faithful or loyal personality, the thumb should be long, with a square tip and nail. A short thumb will show a more quiet nature.
The fingernails, in general, will be broad and of average length.
The fingerprint pattern on the middle finger may well be a whorl, a sign of responsibility.
A faithful personality has a skin texture of average to coarse, not overly soft or coarse.
The ball of the thumb will be springy and well-rounded but not overdeveloped.
The lines will be few but clear and of average depth.
The heart line will have very few branches and end on or under the mount of Jupiter.
Shouldn’t we all know that Venus represents the God of Love? The Venus mount, on the hand, has a lot to do with our character regarding love and passion. The Venus mount is the ball of the thumb, and depending on its development, it has a variety of meanings. However, a high mount of Venus in a woman’s hand does not tend to the extravagance as a Mount of the same strength would in a man’s hand.
On a man, the large ball of thumb tends to show a high libido, depending on other characteristics. The good Venusian type is healthy and happy and often enjoys music and the outdoors. If the mount is full and smooth, as usually found on a woman, there is a strong love of flowers, dancing, paintings, colour and so on, not necessarily for sexual passion.
However, the opposite applies to coarse skin texture and a stiff thumb. In a dangerous type, the hand is thick, especially the base of the hand and the short base of the fingers. When the mount is red and hard, it shows that the person is heated in his passions, and he indulges in his desires to a far greater extent than in the case of a woman with the same degree of development.
The base phalange of the ring finger looks bulgy if there is a high libido. Sometimes the pinkie base phalange is bulgy too.
Knowing about a person’s character helps to form and keep better relationships. One of the biggest problems with lovers is that their loving style does not match, and it causes rifts in the union.
Couples start okay, and then all of a sudden, someone is looking for love elsewhere. So it is back to square one; how frustrating. However, if you were to understand the essential characteristics of the person before things get overly serious, would you want to know?
