Is your fate line missing? The fate line, also known as the Saturn line or career line, is usually present as a vertical crease around the middle area of the palm. The fate line helps us see our direction in life and how motivated or dedicated we are. But before I let you know more about the meaning of the missing fate line, it is essential to understand some of the main lines’ roles.
MAJOR AND MINOR LINES
Most palms have ‘the major’ lines; a heart line, a line of head, and a life line. The main lines tell us about emotions, mentality, and other areas of life. These creases play the most crucial role in palmistry, covering the main areas of the character. Some hand readers also like to refer to the fate and success lines as major ones. I do not use the fate and success lines as major lines because they are not always in everyone’s hands.
Minor lines can change
If there are any missing lines on the palm, it might confuse the reading. These lines can subtly change over time; therefore, what is evident in your hands now, does not imply a fixed quality or event. A line that you feel should be there today might turn up later in life.
When using the lines for prediction, the information gathered in the past events that have led the person to be where they are now. Any lines or markings that represent the future is just an assumption, whether negative or positive. The reason is that our thoughts and desires change, new lines can form and old ones can fade.
The fate line can change over time
The lines that are most likely to change quickly are the minor lines. This is especially true for the fate line. These lines can even disappear altogether. Keeping in mind that any person can take control of their destiny, palmistry can determine some consequences or guidance for our future. Accordingly, if a line shows a particular attribute, it is essential to look for other indications for confirmation, as one feature can offset another.
As an example, a line that shows success for a person may indicate this as a likely conclusion. However, if other signs are against it, such as the lack of willpower, the attainment of that success may be difficult; (but not impossible). Finding adverse signs should not be seen as negative, however, but instead as an incentive for making positive changes for better future outcomes.
Meaning of the Fate Line Missing on the Palm
The Saturn/Fate line, which travels from the base of the palm towards the middle finger, is not usually present in young children and not even in some adults. This line can indicate the success of a career, whether they are settled or varying and changeable. Unestablished career goals often lead to a missing fate line. However, what if you are an adult with a job and still have a missing fate line? It may be that your goals do not match your career or life in general. It may also be that your secretive nature does not allow others to see what you do. 🙂
You are creating your journey in life.
Imagine if the fate line is like a path to where you need to go. If that path cuts through the forest, you stay on that path until you reach the other side or to your destination. What happens if there is no fate line (no path through the forest), but you still need to get through? You make your path of course! So when you think about it, the fate line missing on your palm is just an indicator of a free spirit, you can do what you want, create your path and are not bound by any strict regiment.
I have met some people, primarily businesspeople, in whose hands the fate line was absent. They all were happy to say that they were self-made men and women and that no fate would decide the course of their careers. They were not thinking of the future as much as the next day, basically living each day as it comes.
So a man with a full fate line can be jobless his whole life if that’s his plan. A man with a career can have no fate line if he intends on change and no restrictions.

NOTE FROM SARI: I created Destiny Palmistry the book for those of you who are interested in palmistry as a beginner and for those who believe there is some truth in respect to psychoanalysis, as well as predictive aspects of reading hands. I have for this purpose included many traditional meanings as well as modern views based on my experience.
Many find it difficult to be convinced without systematic evidence and wonder why we believe in predictive palmistry. My answer to that is, the studies of this subject, explored for centuries as a form of divination, has continued to develop in modern times. Furthermore, there is clear support for scientific research that the hands have a connection to the activity of the brain, reflecting the character and wellbeing of the person.
