The Warrior line/Mars line
The warrior line, or more common term, the line of Mars, can have several meanings in palmistry. It varies because it is not always the same length or position on the hand. Mainly, it runs inside and away from the line of life on the side of the Venus mount (ball of the thumb).
I believe Gerry Biccum was the first to name it the warrior line rather than the Mars line. He believes that its effect is to reinforce the line of life. The name suits it well and describes the Mars characteristics. The warrior line can be independent or start with the life line. It might also be called a sister line to the line of life, depending on how close it is. Sometimes it runs close to the life line, and other times it veers away from it. It is most likely a double life line if it runs close alongside.
The Mars area is below the mount of Jupiter and the inside of the thumb. It is where we find our physical courage and energy. It symbolises action, boldness, and strength. The inner Mars is also associated with power, masculinity (yang), personal drive, assertiveness, aggression, and temper (and even violence). The warrior line, therefore, is Mars energy.
A warrior line depicts a born fighter who can manifest in all areas of life. These people might aspire to be leaders or become heads of business. Mars is also connected with the sex drive, so someone with a warrior line (in a relationship) might suggest a more dominant partner. In some cases, a quarrelsome one. A firm and developed mount with the Mars line could also belong to an athlete or someone in the military. It is because it shows a higher level of determination and impulsiveness. These people love danger.
More meanings about the warrior line
A well-formed line is a mark of physical energy and courage. It can also be a line of protection against illness or accidents, especially if the line of life has a break in it. Another meaning to it is someone with inner spiritual awareness. They might even have a guardian angel or spirit guide.
I often see this line on women who have a supportive partner or family member in their lives. Sometimes, where the line ends depicts the time when the support ends. It is always important to check other parts of the palm for confirmation.
Even if the warrior line is short, it indicates good health and the powers of recuperation after illness. Some traditional palm readers say that the line shows talent. The best description has to be that it shows someone with a fighting spirit.
Remember, the lines can change over time; therefore, what is evident in your hands now, does not imply a fixed outcome. When using the lines for prediction, gather information from the past trials that have led the person to be where they are now. Any lines or markings that represent the future are just assumptions. They show what is potential for the subject based on past actions.
