DO YOU HAVE A LOW SET PINKIE?
The low set pinkie, or in palmistry terms the ‘Mercury finger’ is sometimes only slightly low set and other times it appears to be completely away from the other fingers. When the finger is set extremely low, it makes the hand look out of balance. (See image below)
The meaning of the low set pinkie
When the pinkie is sitting very low on the edge of the palm, it suggests under-development of the metacarpals (finger bones in the palm). This in turn tends to also reflect in the traits that the pinkie represents. For instance, business and confidence, especially in communication and language.
The feature mainly refers to the growing years, the teenage and early adult years. Maybe in some cases even in their later years, if the mark is strong. The underdevelopment reflects the Mercurian aspects of palmistry. Therefore, it might suggest early life struggle with learning to speak (language difficulties) or emotional development.
Low set pinkie and creativity.
Most people with a low-set pinkie are interested in being creative, like creating something out of the ordinary. The creativity might only be expressed privately, in the home through things like home decorating or crafts. Often other features reflect drive and ambition, then creativity is likely to be a bigger part of their life.
A pinkie that is low set and also short
If the low set pinkie is also small, it can show emotional needs in relationships may be an issue. It can infer a history of deprivation or inadequacy at a young age; whether due to hardship, setbacks or an absent or overly nurturing parent (often the case).
Whatever the cause, the biggest obstacle that this feature presents that of difficulty connecting, verbalising and naivety in emotional or sexual matters. If with a weak thumb, they may also inadvertently seek a dominant or unsuitable marriage partner.
Most of the time, any of the negative qualities can be overcome simply by being aware of them. For example, if you are afraid of public speaking, you should do it more maybe to get over the fear? If you keep attracting the wrong type of person in your life, try to be more aware and be open-minded to someone different.
More about palmistry and recognising the character:
Character awareness in palmistry is about recognising traits and abilities through the hands at a glance, without necessarily seeing the lines. The essential features of the hand and fingers can give clues about temperament and natural talents. Having this knowledge can affect your choices in life, whether personal or business. You may be wondering what kind of career would suit you, or you may be considering hiring someone for a job that requires natural talent.
Can palmistry help in relationships?
There are many incredible ways palmistry can improve our lives. An example is when people go into a relationship, they do not know the person. Once they do, they might discover all kinds of clashes. However, a few very simple clues on the hands can help us to see the underlying personality and whether there is compatibility. If not, knowing about it can prevent future issues.
One finger alone can depict a crucial aspect that is to do with love relationships. Can you tell if someone is a real, genuine person? Imagine meeting someone for the first time, and if you knew something about them straight away, you could decide whether or not to get to know them better.
How to know character from a mere glance at the hands?
Any well-developed mount or finger suggests energy in the area it represents. The development shows where the person has put their focus in the past. Once you have learned the meanings of these areas, you can quickly grasp the idea. The following features are the primary ones used to identify these qualities:
Venus Mount and Meanings of Other Areas of the Hand
Finger length and their setting
Crooked or leaning fingers
The thumb and its setting
The finger phalanges
The fingernails
