About me: Sari’s Art

As a school-age girl, I started drawing for fun, and sometimes entered art competitions and won some. It gave me the enthusiasm to continue drawing and selling my art to friends and family. I drew anything ranging from cars, motorbikes, and stockcars to pets (dogs, horses). I decided to take up painting on canvas in 2006 using acrylic paints.

The first piece was a painting of a lady with a huge flower hat (the whereabouts of this piece are currently unknown). I signed it using my married name Sari Gealy 2006. I sold several of my acrylic paintings when I lived on Macleay Island, Qld, Australia. Many of the sold art were of birds, frogs, or dragonflies. Unfortunately, many of my paintings perished in the house fire that occurred in 2010. Luckily though, I didn’t lose them all, because they were in the Macleay Island Art Gallery. After some time I decided to dabble in oil painting because it seemed better, and the first one is still in my possession. I began carving wood hand sculpture for the first time in 2021, and mainly carve ‘hands’ however, I do custom pieces to order, whatever you like. My page is here.
