The heart line is the uppermost horizontal line on the palm; it represents how a person expresses feelings and attitudes towards relationships. The basics of reading this line are the same as the head and life lines; that is, by looking at its length, depth, and quality. When a heart line joins the head line or the life line, it has a different meaning.
The line’s depth reflects the depth of feeling. So, a curved line indicates emotion, while a straight line shows control. An average heart line, broad and relatively free of flaws, reveals a well-adjusted person in their emotions and would indicate profound, intense passions.
The Location of the Lines
Where the heart line sits on the palm can add to its meaning. When the line sits high (closer to the base of the fingers), it suggests the person is open-minded and easily displays their feelings. Straight heart line to the head line

If it is very straight, they may seek perfection in a relationship. However, the lack of curve in the line also indicates the lack of warmth, and they wish to be loved. If there is a break in the heart line
A broken heart line is when the line stops and starts again. It can overlap or have a clean break. The main thing about the fractured heart line is that it can manifest in difficulties expressing feelings (detached emotions). The person might have issues with mood swings or emotional stress. (Check the type of head line). There may be a period in their life when there is a significant change, such as a broken relationship. (Check life and fate lines). These people may often feel emotionally disconnected and experience phases of detachment.
