Where to find the passion line on the palm
The passion line is a slanted line running from around the middle of the upper horizontal crease (heart line) to the base of the little finger. It can also end between the ring (Apollo) and little finger (Mercury). Often the line joins the girdle of Venus.
Lines that rise to the Apollo mount belong to creative types. If the line reaches the Mercury mount, it tells of a character who passionately goes about their business. They put their heart and soul into their work or hobby. From the qualities of Mercury, these individuals can not only use their business skills to achieve their aims but also their charm or magnetism. The line rises from the heart line, which indicates that they do work that comes from their heart or passion.
If the girdle of Venus is present together with the passion line, it gives more sensitivity to the character. There is an added capacity to the imagination. Someone who is an artist, a visionary or simply devoted to a spiritual path. They may live an unusual lifestyle and need a strong and down to earth partner in life.
Some palmists say that the passion line belongs to someone who has an elevated erotic imagination. They tend to fantasise about or enjoy visual erotica. On its own, however, it doesn’t mean that they have an exciting love life. I have found that people with this line need to be physically attracted to their partners.
Camera’s Eye Line
Where to find the camera’s eye line
The line called a Camera’s Eye is a shorter line in between the mounts of Apollo and Mercury. But it doesn’t reach all the way between the fingers. The camera’s eye often has a slight curve as it crosses over the heart line. It is an indicator of an artistic person with an eye for exactness. It could almost be like an extra line of Mercury or Apollo because it sits in the area between Apollo and Mercury mounts.
A camera’s eye is an excellent marking to have if your career involves having a sharp eye for detail. The benefits of this line can be in the fields of photography and art. Actually in anything that requires spotting visual features or aspects of images that may be out of sync or incorrect; c
If you are looking for an inspirational and visionary artist, look for the passion line with the camera’s eye line, Apollo lines as well as a girdle of Venus. (See below)
Girdle of Venus
The Girdle of Venus is like an additional heart line in the sense that adds extra sensitivity and intensity to the personality. In some cases where the heart line is absent, such as the Simian line, it takes the place of that line. From a positive perspective, it signifies a compassionate and open-hearted character. It is good if found on someone in the caring professions because they understand the pain of others. However, it can also indicate an intense state of nervousness and quick temper if aspects on the hand show these qualities elsewhere.
The line in its full form strengthens whatever characteristics are present in the temperament of the individual. It is a mark of heightened nerves, feelings, and emotions, whether they are positive or negative. If on an artist’s hand, the art would depict emotion well. In most cases, it is only present in sections, and the meaning varies depending on its length, quality, and type of hand which has it. If with a full Girdle on a soft water type hand, its owner can be tough on the outside, but in fact, they may experience the opposite on the inside. Their feelings are easily hurt, and they are quite receptive to what is going on around them. They can quickly become addicted to stimulants, and sad movies make them cry due to their empathic nature.
When unbroken and deeply etched, it may be a sign of selfishness and irrational or neurotic behaviour, especially if with a weak or broken head line. In the old palmistry, it was called the line of prostitution. In a modern view, flirtatiousness would be appropriate.
